Chris Dunn has over 35 years of experience as a trial lawyer and has tried over 300 jury trials in both state and federal court in Maryland and D.C. Chris started mediating and arbitrating cases over 25 years ago and open his own law firm in January of 2025 to concentrate his practice on Alternative Dispute Resolution. Chris enjoys a reputation as being one of the most effective and efficient mediators throughout Maryland and D.C. Chris' practice includes personal injury, professional malpractice, premises liability, product liability, insurance coverage, employment issues, contract disputes and construction defect. In 2011, Chris was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers. This select membership is the highest honor bestowed on a trial lawyer and is conferred upon less than one percent of all trial lawyers in the nation who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality.

Over Thirty-Five Years of Leadership

Mr. Dunn’s practice primarily focuses on complex civil litigation, including areas such as products liability, professional malpractice, and construction and premises liability. He also has extensive experience in appellate law, having represented clients in both state and federal appellate courts. Among his significant achievements is successfully representing the Atlantic Coast Conference in a high-profile legal matter involving the University of Maryland’s transition to the Big Ten Conference. Additionally, Mr. Dunn has held leadership roles within the Prince George’s County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association and has been a trusted speaker and lecturer on legal topics such as risk management, litigation, and claims management.

He also has an extensive appellate practice, and has successfully represented a number of clients before The Appellate Court of Maryland, The Supreme Court of Maryland, and United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
